For over two decades, saxophonist Silke Eberhard and trumpeter Nikolaus Neuser have been working together in Berlin’s progressive jazz scene. Their work spans ensembles of various sizes and interdisciplinary projects connecting improvisation with dance, literature, and visual art.
They perform original compositions as well as contemporary interpretations of Charles Mingus and Eric Dolphy, and have appeared at festivals such as Jazzfest Berlin and the Moers Festival. Their international collaborations include artists like Talibam!, Maggie Nicols, and Matthew Herbert. After their opening duo set, they will be joined by Clara Däubler and Willi Hanne for a second set.
